Mr. Chenoweth graduated from The University of Virginia School of Law and previously practiced with the law firm of Mayor, Day, Caldwell & Keeton, L.L.P.  He became a partner in 2004.

Mr. Chenoweth focuses his practice on complex business, commercial, and intellectual property litigation.  His experience includes the pursuit and defense of patent infringement, trade secrets, and trademark infringement claims; the pursuit and defense of breach of contract claims and construction disputes; the defense of law firms in malpractice claims; the recovery of damages arising from defective hospital constructions; the recovery of damages on behalf of a Canadian agricultural firm in a nuclear plant business park dispute; the representation of healthcare providers in a payment dispute with managed care entities; and the defense of personal injury and wrongful death claims.

Mr. Chenoweth is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and Houston Young Lawyers Association.  He has served on the Houston Bar Association’s Administration of Justice Committee and is a Fellow of the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation, the Houston Bar Foundation, and the Texas Bar Foundation.

He is admitted to practice in Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Eastern, Northern, and Western Districts of Texas, and the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.
