Mr. Fibbe graduated from Harvard Law School and clerked for the Hon. Martin L. C. Feldman of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation.
His experience includes representing a major airline in successfully obtaining a temporary injunction prohibiting "screen-scraping" of its website by a software company; participating in the trial of a case that obtained the largest actual damages verdict, judgment, and settlement in Nevada history; and assisting with the drafting of a petition for writ of certiorari in the U.S. Supreme Court in a major antitrust price-fixing case.
Mr. Fibbe spoke in 2003 at the Walter F. George School of Law, Mercer University at its symposium "The Internet: Place, Property, or Thing — All or None of the Above." His article Screen-Scraping and Harmful Cybertrespass After Intel was published in 2004 in the Mercer Law Review.
Mr. Fibbe is a member of the State Bar of Alabama, State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association and Houston Young Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Federalist Society Houston Lawyers Chapter and Young Texans Against Cancer.
He is admitted to practice in Alabama, Texas, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
