Mr. Griffith graduated from The University of Texas School of Law. Since joining the firm, he has focused his practice on commercial litigation, including claims involving theft of trade secrets, trademark infringement, breach of covenant not to compete, insurance coverage, lender liability, and professional malpractice.

His litigation experience includes obtaining a take-nothing judgment in a legal malpractice suite arising out of the largest jury verdict in 1998 and defending the judgment through appeal; prosecuting a breach of a multi-million dollar supply contract against a leading snack food manufacturer, resulting in a favorable long-term business arrangement for the client; successfully defending against Fortune 500 companies' enforcement of their portfolios of trademark registrations; helping a Fortune 500 company shut down a computer company's infringement of a world famous trademark; arbitrating a $20+ million dollar breach of a longer-term compressor services contract for a major gas gathering company; successfully defending five former employees of a leading energy services firm accused of misusing confidential information; and assisting in prosecuting fraud by a worldwide mining engineering firm, resulting in the largest actual damages verdict in Nevada history.

Mr. Griffith is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association and Houston Volunteer Lawyer's Program. In 1995 he received the Houston Bar Association's President's Award for Outstanding Service.
