Ms. Hohensee graduated from The University of Houston and previously practiced as a litigation associate with the law firm of Baker Botts, LLP.
Ms. Hohensee focuses her practice on intellectual property litigation. Her experience includes the prosecution and defense of patent infringement claims on behalf of oil and gas exploration and production companies, oil field services companies, home products manufacturers, and individual inventors. Her cases have involved drilling technology, drilling rig equipment, cuttings disposal, blowout preventers, petroleum products, chemical plants, refineries and biomedical devices. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Hohensee also specialized in other technology litigation, including the defense of personal injury, wrongful death and toxic tort claims arising from alleged air, water and soil contamination on behalf of major oil and gas companies, chemicals companies, and waste disposal companies.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Hohensee worked for Exxon Co., U.S.A. as a Reservoir Engineer specializing in Gulf Coast oil and gas operations and producing property acquisitions.
Ms. Hohensee is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, and Houston Intellectual Property Law Association.
She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and all state and federal courts in Texas.
