Ms. Goldman graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School and clerked for the Hon. Lee H. Rosenthal of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She attended Princeton University, where she graduated magna cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Before law school, she was a policy analyst for the Electronic Privacy Information Center.

Ms. Goldman focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and appeals. She has represented corporations in an array of complex commercial disputes, including prosecution of claims by a software company against former officers and directors for insider trading and breaches of fiduciary duties, defense of copper mining companies from fraudulent transfer claims in bankruptcy, and representation of a financing company in disputes with former fund partners involving claims of breach of contract, misrepresentation, and fraud. She has briefed numerous successful appeals before the United States Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, Texas courts, and other jurisdictions, including United States Supreme Court merits stage briefing in Ricci v. DeStefano for firefighters challenging discrimination by the City of New Haven.

Ms. Goldman is admitted to practice in Texas, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and numerous other federal courts. She has been named a Texas Rising Star by Texas Monthly magazine for 2007 through 2009 and one of Houston's Top Lawyers for 2009 by H Texas magazine. Ms. Goldman has co-authored "Entering the Sixth Dimension: An Area Called 'The Insolvency Zone'" for the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Institute (2009); the U.S. Supreme Court Updates for The Appellate Advocate, a publication of the Appellate Section of the Texas Bar Association (2007-09); "Domain Names," a teaching module for Harvard Law School Berkman Center for Internet & Society (2003); and "Evaluating the Uniform Domain Name Dispute Policy," Harvard Law School Berkman Center for Internet & Society (2000).
