KIMBERLY L. MCMULLAN
Ms. McMullan graduated from Harvard Law School and practiced with the Boston law firm of Ropes & Gray. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation. She has been involved in numerous complex commercial disputes, including an investigation and prosecution of claims by a software company against former officers and directors for insider trading and breaches of fiduciary duties; post-trial representation of a plaintiff mining company in a fraud case against a worldwide engineering firm resulting in the largest actual damages verdict and settlement in Nevada history; defense of a venture capital fund in a dispute with a former fund partner involving claims of breach of contract, misrepresentation and fraud; representation of an insurer in disputes with insureds regarding asbestos liability coverage; recovery of damages for a broadband equipment manufacturer in a commercial contract dispute; and defense of a chemical manufacturer in an EPA CERCLA action for natural resource damages and response costs. Ms. McMullan is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association and the American Bar Association. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Texas, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. |
