Ms. Rotman graduated from Harvard Law School and clerked for the Hon. Marvin J. Garbis, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation.

She has been counsel in numerous commercial disputes, including prosecution of fraud and contract claims by a major airline against online travel brokers and travel agencies, resulting in a temporary injunction that was upheld on appeal; defense of a Fortune 10 company being sued in a multi-million dollar fraud case involving oilfield drilling equipment, resulting in a non-suit by plaintiff two weeks prior to trial; prosecution of claims to establish the rights of a prominent regional electric company; and defense of a major law firm in a professional negligence action. She has experience in all aspects of trial court litigation, from discovery to post-trial, as well as briefing and arguing in the Texas appellate courts. She also has represented individuals pro bono in commercial disputes and family law matters.

During law school, she was a member of the Harvard Board of Student Advisors and the Submissions Editor of the Harvard International Law Journal. She published "Benin's Constitutional Court: An Institutional Model for Guaranteeing Human Rights", 17 Harvard Human Rights Journal 281 (2004). Prior to joining the firm, she was a legal intern for the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda and worked for several years in the software and damage management industries.
