Mr. Terrazas graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School where he was a member of the Ames Moot Court Competition winning team and was designated the "Best Oralist" during the semi-final round. While in law school, Mr. Terrazas worked as an extern with the U.S. Department of Justice, Counter-Terrorism Section, was a student advocate at the Wilmer Hale Legal Services Center, and mediated several small claims disputes through the Harvard Mediation Program.
After graduating, Mr. Terrazas was an associate in the litigation and appellate sections of Fulbright & Jaworski, L.L.P. where he represented plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property disputes, real estate litigation, energy infrastructure and contract actions, pro bono cases, and appellate matters. Mr. Terrazas subsequently clerked for the Hon. Priscilla R. Owen of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. Terrazas served as a Captain in the U.S. Army's Field Artillery branch. Mr. Terrazas was awarded the Bronze Star Medal while serving with the 101st Airborne Division during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He is a graduate of the U.S. Army's Ranger, Airborne, and Air Assault schools.
Mr. Terrazas is admitted to practice in all Texas state courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
