Mr. Warden was selected by his peers as one of Texas' Super Lawyers. In his 23 years of practice, he has tried numerous jury trials in state and federal courts, handled appeals in state and federal courts of appeals, and handled arbitrations, both ad hoc and under supervisory organizations such as the International Chamber of Commerce and NASD. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in cases pertaining to antitrust, securities violations, trade secrets, patents, and other business and technology litigation.

Mr. Warden is currently involved in a corporate fraud case in California representing numerous plaintiffs in their claims against a major healthcare provider and its corporate affiliates, an antitrust suit against major movie studios, a major construction lawsuit on behalf of a French corporation, a breach of contract case involving several large healthcare corporations against a major insurance company, and a malpractice case against a worldwide accounting firm.

His past cases include the successful representation of a Gibraltar corporation against a major oil company arising from oil and gas drilling rights in Yemen, a $400 million cash settlement for limited partners against a major hotel corporation, and the successful defense of an Indonesian businessman in an international arbitration in Geneva, Switzerland.

Mr. Warden has written several articles, including "Trade Secrets and Patents: Comparison and Contrasts in Royalty Determination," "How to Quantify Trade Secrets Theft," "Intellectual Property Litigation: An Overview," "Punitive Damages: Preparing the Plaintiff's and Defendant's Case," and "Price Erosion as Factor in Patent Damages." This year, he spoke in Paris on the topic of "U.S. Patent Practice: The Importance of the Patent Document in Enforcement" and in 2002 at the Les Grandes Series Function Finances in Montreal, Canada.

He is on the Board of Directors of Encore Bank and Chairman of the Audit Committee; and a member of the London Court of International Arbitration and International Bar Association. In 2003 he was an arbitrator in the Vis Moot Competition in Vienna, Austria and in 2004 he was an arbitrator in the first Vis (East) Moot Court Competition held in Hong Kong.

He is admitted to practice in Texas, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Warden worked in various engineering assignments for Exxon Corporation in Alaska, California, and Texas.
