Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Wynne served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of Texas, in the Civil Division from 1998 to 2000 and in the Criminal Division from 2000 to 2005. His cases included insurance fraud, mortgage fraud, securities fraud, money laundering and other white collar matters, as well as significant public corruption and cybercrimes cases. He argued an insurance fraud case before the Fifth Circuit, which was affirmed. He received FBI special agent training in the investigation of cybercrimes. He received the Ethics Award for the United States Attorney's Office, and he was recognized by the FBI Director for his prosecution of securities fraud and money laundering.

He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1992, after which he pursued a commercial litigation practice with a large Texas-based law firm.

He is the recipient of the Ethics Award, U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of Texas (2002), the Presidential Merit Award, Texas Young Lawyer Association (1999), and Most Outstanding Legal Article, Houston Lawyer (1998).

His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, federal white collar criminal defense, and corporate investigations.

He is admitted to practice in Texas, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court.
